Analytical Tests & development of analytical test methods
Development of new materials should be accompanied by accurate testing methods to verify the composition and structure of the synthesized material.
The company has experience in the development of tools and analytical test methods to characterize peptides, proteins, oils, complex substances, and small molecules to accompany the development and production process of different and diverse substances.
Analytical test methods:
HPLC – high performance liquid chromatography – Normal and Reversed-phase chromatography, Size-exclusion chromatography, Ion-exchange chromatography, and combinations. Analytical HPLC can be upgraded for preparative HPLC method for substance purification.
Amino acid analysis – Total peptide degradation and analysis by Fmoc amino acid labeling.
Spectrophotometry – optical density, absorbance, colorimetric analysis and variety of biological methods for measurement of proteins, peptides, DNA, RNA and calorimetric substrates.
ELISA – enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay – for analytical biochemistry assays, enzyme assays and kinetics, antigen-antibody interactions, and tissue culture analysis.
Microscopy – visual studies under microscope of solids, liquids and surfaces.
Molecular density – of liquids, mainly oils and organic solvents.
Water content – by Karl Fischer titration or other titration methods to establish water content in liquids and solids.
Elemental Analysis – Analysis of main elements C, H, O, N and other unique elements.
Mass spectrometry – GC-MS – gas chromatography mass spectrometry for analysis of oils and organic solvents, LC-MS – liquid chromatography for analysis of peptides, small molecules and complicated materials.
NMR – Nuclear magnetic resonance – measuring the frequency of the magnetic field at the nucleus of the elements in the substance to reveal the molecular structure.
